What we collect

No accounts, no sign-up, no forms. We don’t collect names, emails, or payment details. Saved spots live in your browser’s local storage and never leave your device.

Third parties

Map tiles load from OpenFreeMap and place search from Photon (your searched coordinates reach those services to return results). Partner links carry an affiliate tag, and a partner-network script (Travelpayouts) may set attribution cookies when you click a partner link. We run no ad trackers of our own.

Affiliate disclosure

Outbound bookings — bag storage (Bounce), and as partnerships launch, rental cars, hotels, and parking — may earn us a commission at no cost to you. Commissions never change the crime data or the ranking criteria, which are stated on each page.

The data itself

All crime figures are aggregated from public police records at block level; we do not publish addresses of incidents beyond what cities already release, and we archive only aggregate counts. Area risk is a probability, not a guarantee — treat it as one input to your own judgment.
